Our Work Culture

Professional-yes. Stuffy-no. During the course of the day, it is not uncommon to hear words like "Cool!" and "Right on!" We also have quite eclectic tastes in music and you'll hear everything from 70s pop to hip-hop playing from desk to desk. Believe it or not, we actually like what we do, and have fun doing it. We are a team of professionals dedicated to helping your business succeed on the internet. No kidding. You are our first priority. That's how we get business done. Since we opened our doors in 1999 we've had 98% client retention. That means that only a handful (okay two-if you're counting) of our clients have ever left us after experiencing our amazing customer support, superior quality, and on-time dedication. We think that speaks volumes about who we are as a company, and who we are as individuals.


Our Name

future-ink -- ah yes.... The name has confused our potential clients, hidden our true business function, and made many people smile politely as if "they get it". We've also been called, "Future Inc.", "Future Think" and our all-time favorite, "Inky Finger". It may not sound very cool nowadays, but back in 1999 we couldn't even get the domain name (and still don't have it without the dash). Pretty impressive eh? What? You still don't get it? Well, when the great World Wide Web first emerged and took its baby steps, there was much talk about how it would create a great paperless society. In essence, the WWW was going to be the INK OF THE FUTURE! Get it? Okay, if that had actually happened, you would "get" our name and this entire explanation would be pure sillyness.


Our World

Our world, yes the earth, is very important to us. Though the WWW never quite lived up to its "paperless society" potential, we really liked the idea. In fact, saving the earth is a mission that our founders are passionate about. Not to get too gloomy, but the earth is in a critical state right now. That's why when you do business with future-ink, you help other organizations, like the Sierra Club, continue their earth-saving efforts. Other future-ink environmental efforts are built into our business model that no one even thinks about anymore like: printing on both sides of paper, recycling EVERYTHING, sending email invoices, buying recycled products, carpooling and giving a bonus to our employees that use alternative transportation to get to work. We haven't adopted a highway yet, but we've been eyeing the possibility.
